Designing a garden with space constraints doesn’t need to be a problem. In this small Urban contemporary garden space was limited. one of the other factors we had to consider was the need for the garden to be low maintenance. The decision to make the patio area the focal point was the first step. We chose with the client a contemporary style of paving with a mixture of three shades of grey. These were laid running away from the house and the bi-fold doors, in order to draw your eye out into the garden and give the illusion of more space.

The block work walls were rendered in white, giving a clean crisp contemporary look and feel. Lights where installed in the walls and the planters planted with a mix of low maintenance plants.
