Project:

Oast House Garden

In the Weald of Kent Oast houses form an iconic part of the landscape.

Encompassing Kentish history and tradition. Used for drying hops in yesteryear they are mostly now all converted into domestic dwellings. Many with stunning surrounding open fields and countryside.

The brief was to create a contempory stylish and usable garden whilst retaining the period features of the building and its surrounding farm buildings. The existing pond was to be retained and made into an attractive feature of the garden. We installed a composite decking board walk and a cantilevered deck arear using Millboard https://millboard.co.uk/ The porcelain tiles were selected to match the tiles used inside and the paving runs seamlessly via the stunning bi-fold doors into the kitchen diner. Affording stunning views into the garden and the open countryside surrounding the stuffing property.
