Project:

Oak framed Pergola, with Indian Sandstone Patio

We worked with our client in Plaxtol, Kent, to design and build this area for entertaining guests in the summer months.

Owing to the fact that its situated in a large garden the entertaining area was quite a distance from the house and up a set of stairs. To get around this the design incorporates a BBQ area, wash basin and even a space for a fridge. Meaning our client wont need to leave their guests alone for long periods of time whilst they pop back to the house to prepare food or get cold drinks.

The children’s play area and sunken trampoline is also close by, meaning that they could keep an eye on their young children at the same time. The design also incorporated a kitchen garden area in raised sleeper beds, gravel walkways and beds for planting.

The material used for the construction of the pergola itself is English oak, we work closely and successfully with local suppliers to source all our materials. The Patio is Indian sandstone and is edged with Granite setts.
